One of my favorite trends in weddings right now is the wonderful mixing of textures and styles in everything from invitations to cakes. There something so dramatic and beautiful about traditional, formal elements placed in nontraditional, rustic settings. So silk invitations for an elegant, rustic, outdoor wedding with distressed wood, burlap, and other natural elements? Absolutely!
